Sheila D’Angelo, 73

Sheila D’Angelo, 73, of Ephrata, formerly of New York, lost her battle with cancer on December 9, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Bea Foudin.

Sheila attended college in Long Island before beginning a career in accounting with Gema Industries and then with Healthguard Insurance Company & also co-owned a New York style deli & restaurant, Yachabebe in Lancaster, PA.

She was a true family matriarch who loved to host gatherings and spend time with family. Sheila was in her zone in the kitchen, possessing an unmatched passion for cooking. Friends and family were her world. She loved being out with the people closest to her and sharing life’s special moments!

Sheila was the loving wife of Joe D’Angelo, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, having wed in 1981. She was a devoted mother to Melissa Hess (David), Jessica McEvoy, and Nikki D’Angelo (Joe). Sheila especially cherished her role as a grandmother and was deeply proud of her grandchildren, Carly, Kayla, Chase, and Jaxson.

She will be missed by her brothers, Robert Foudin (Priscilla) and Doug Foudin (Karen), as well as many long-time friends she considered family and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA, on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Guests are invited to greet family from 5pm to 7pm, with a service beginning at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sheila’s honor to hospice and community care at hospiceandcommunitycare.org.
