Sharon Smith, 67
December 08, 2025
Sharon Smith, 67, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Edna (Smith) Gudd and Henry Davis. She was the beloved wife of Patrick A. “Pat” Smith, with whom she shared over 35 years of marriage.
A dedicated and compassionate caregiver, Sharon worked as a CNA prior to her retirement. Her artistic spirit touched every part of her life—she was gifted in drawing and multimedia art, and she poured her creativity into fashion design, often crafting her own clothing. Sharon was known for her one-of-a-kind style, a reflection of the vibrant personality she carried into every room.
Family meant everything to Sharon. She loved hosting Thanksgiving with Pat, bringing everyone together with warmth and joy. She cherished time spent with her children and especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her sense of humor, always sharp and unforgettable, became a hallmark of who she was—someone who could bring laughter even in difficult moments.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Patrick “Pat” Smith; and her sons, all of PA: Anthony “Juice” Smith, husband of Lisa; Tyrone “Bootnye” Jackson-Smith; Darrell “Wiggles” Jackson; and Laquan “Pops” Jackson. She is also survived by her siblings: Calvin Smith, David Smith, Sylvia Smith, and Sheila Smith-Gray; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. She will be dearly missed by her beloved sister-in-law Patricia Smith, along with many other in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her sons Corey Porcher and Ricky “Slick” Jackson, as well as her sister Linda Smith.
A Home Going Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of service.
