Saramma Samuel, 75
August 12, 1947 - August 10, 2023
Saramma Samuel, 75, a member of the Pushpamangalam Family, passed away at her Ephrata, PA, home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Pallom, Kottayam, India, the daughter of the late John and Sosamma (Chacko) Thomas. She shared 47 years of marriage with her husband Thumpalil “Sam” Samuel.
Saramma earned her bachelor’s degree and worked as a Nurses Aide at an assisted living facility in Miami for 22 years. She took great pride in being a nurse and helping everyone she could.
She was an active member of the Church of South India, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Saramma enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and caring for her nieces and nephews, and she loved all animals.
In addition to her husband Sam, Saramma is survived by their son, Mathew Samuel, husband of Carly of Ephrata, three grandchildren, Sanjay, Raya, and Nahla Samuel, all of Ephrata, her brother John Thomas, husband of Sosamma of Miami, FL, and sister Kunjamma Baby of India.
Saramma was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
A viewing will take place Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.

I will always cherish the memories I have jumping the back fence to come get a bowl of cut strawberries with sugar and just to say converse with her. She was a beautiful soul , my deepest condolences for your families loss. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers for strength in these months and years to come. Love you all!
