Samuel Morant, Sr., 71

Samuel Morant, Sr., 71, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plantersville, SC he was the son of the late Jerry Morant, Sr. and the late Maybell (Skinner) Morant. He was the loving husband of Lois (Talton) Morant with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his six children, Samuel Morant, Jr. fiancé of Donna Keller, Ernest, Casandra, Gerald Morant, Cynthia Smith, and Timmy Hobbs all of Lancaster. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Home Going Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 701 N. Lime St, Lancaster, PA with Rev. Roland P. Forbes, Jr. officiating. Interment to follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on Friday.

Pop pop I miss you sooooo much my kids miss u as well.. wen I see a red bird I know it’s you life is not the same wit out u it’s been soooo hard for me I miss our talks our cook outs the time u always gave me n jus hearing u say PEBBLES tel my dad I miss him too I lost the two best men I ever had in life
