Rose M. Perez, 82, of Lancaster entered into peaceful rest on March 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Victor A. Perez. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Lindsay Paschall and Elizabeth Gates.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and sharing tea and homemade coffee cake while chatting with family and friends at her kitchen table. She delighted in seeing the smiles of those she gave her dolls to.

All who knew Rose will remember her for her kindness. Everyone who became acquainted with her immediately felt comfortable in her company and friendships developed with ease. More than anything else, Rose had agape love for her children and their descendants.

She is survived by her children: Linda Perez, of MD, Victor Perez, husband of Rev. Lacita of Atlanta, GA, Michael Perez, husband of Deacones Jan, of Willow St, Dr. Antonio Perez, Mariano Perez, husband of Helen, Carmen Johonoson, all of Lancaster, Nicholas Perez, husband of Debra of Marietta, GA and Cristobal Perez, of Lancaster. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Hardwick.

Home Going Services will be at 10AM on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Interment in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
