Ronald A. Schulz, 86

December 26, 2020

Ronald A. Schulz, 86, of Bensalem, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Statesman Health & Rehab. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Winifred E. (Kleinjohn) Schulz. He was the loving and faithful husband of L. Marie (McIlwain) Schulz, with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage.

He was a 1952 graduate of Bensalem High School where he met the love of his life, Marie. Ron was drafted into the Army in 1957, one year after he and Marie were married. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work as a salesman for Sunset Memorial Park and later worked for CMS Gilbreth in the shipping department.

Ron loved the Lord and served on the Sunday School bus route, taught Sunday School, served in the college and career ministry, and enjoyed leading congregational singing (not missing one verse!) for many years at Bensalem Baptist Church and Grace Independent Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Marie, Ron is survived by his son, Steven C. Schulz, of Bensalem; his grandchildren: Deborah M. Kenderdine, of Bensalem, Joshua S. Kenderdine, husband of Abigail M., of Paradise, Jesse D. Schulz, husband of Emily A., of Hulmeville, Caleb A. Kenderdine, husband of Danielle N., of Ephrata; brothers: Robert Schulz, husband of Diane, of Oreland and Harold Schulz, husband of Beverly, of Zionville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara E. Kenderdine.

Ron will be laid to rest with military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, in private graveside services.

Condolences to the Family

December 31, 2020

Ronnie was always a wonderful guy to our whole family. When there were at backyard picnics we were always greeted first by Ronnie and his bigger than life smile and personality. Always making everyone feel comfortable and wanted.  We all lost a good one from this earth. But somehow I feel as we all cross to the other side, we will be greeted with that big smile and that will make us all feel welcomed. God Bless.
