Robert “Bob” J. Davis, 68

Robert “Bob” J. Davis, 68 of Willow Street, PA passed away on May 15, with his wife by his side. He was the loving husband of Lori A Davis (Bliesath) for 35 years. Born in West Chester, PA he was the son of James and the late Joyce (Miller) Davis.
Bob was a graduate of Coatesville H.S. and received his diploma from ATC in Exton, PA. studying automotive engine repair/rebuild and machinist courses. Bob went on to become the owner of Auto-Metrics of Lancaster until 2009. He finished his working career as manager of Autopart International in York, PA, retiring in 2021.
Bob was the wonderful father of Robert “Bobby” Davis, Jr and loving Pop Pop of Hunter R. Davis. Bob is survived by a sister RuthAnn Byerly, and nieces Stephanie Byerly, Shannon Purcell (Drew) and Denine Davis. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas “Tom” Davis.
In Bobs spare time he enjoyed rebuilding and riding his Harleys. He also enjoyed boating, hunting, and spending time with his family, friends and cats Buddie and Mustang.
Bob recently celebrated 37 years of recovery.
Funeral Services will be held at 4PM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and friends will be received from 3-4PM at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions can be made to the 521 Club, Inc. 2400 Butter Rd, Lancaster PA 17602 or

We are so sad to lose Uncle Bob. He was always so kind to my whole family, and we have nothing other than wonderful memories of holidays, picnics, and family events. Sending the biggest hugs to Aunt Lor, Bobby, and Hunter. I know he will be very missed, but he left a wonderful legacy behind. The world needs more kind souls like Uncle Bob. Bob was a good friend to me and Steve’s friend. We rode Harleys together he was the type to help anyone. I am honored to have known him and to call him and Lori my friends. I hope you fly high and ride that bike to glory. We will meet again one day. Till than look down on us and rest
