You always had a story for everything. Things you would say constantly ” Work smarter, not harder!”, ” My father always said I’m your father, you make your friends outside, I’m not a friend.” ” When I was a kid, when my father told me to be home by a certain time, I once told him my watch died, It didn’t work for me then, and it’s not working for you now!” You were a grandfather of many many life lessons. I’ll never forget one Christmas as a teen I asked for the PINK cd you went all over looking for the color pink CD! The things you would do for us for all the long summers, the BJs trips to buy another 10 ketchups when we still had 7 back at the house. The drunk wildwood vacation, Walt Disney world you took those rollarcosters like a champ. The burnt hamburgers during summer BBQs  ( as kids called them hockey pucks and you knew it too) You always had millions, thousands of everything rubber bands, zip ties, extension cords, light bulbs, etc. After Christmas you would go to the Walmart Christmas blow up sales and buy a new bow up even though you only had a foot of room on the front yard you some way always made them fit. When we did something right you’d say”now that’s it” and when we did something wrong and got into trouble for it you’d say ” Don’t go away mad, just go away!” All the life talks and the same conversations day in a day out are only memories now, things to cherish and laugh about for that the stupid crap you would say, and we would roll the eyes or say we heard this one already it would be everything to hear them again. We know your walking in the skies and will cherish all the talks and memories we had.

From our first meeting at the 3rd Precinct in Yonkers early May, 1989, we were destined to become great friends.
I was proud to be asked to stand up for you at your wedding to Deb, and my kids still talk about their Uncle Bob the Yankee games & the Super Bowl watch parties.
You left too soon. Already missing you, Bobby. 🙏 David Duke

I have not known Bob that long, met him at my inlaws residnce for Independance Day celebration a few years ago.  In my short time knowing him, I know he was a very kind person, and very proud of his police career which we shared. May God Bless him, and his family during this difficult time. RIP Bob. Joe Boyle
