Robert A. Bourassa, 91

Robert A. Bourassa, 91, of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Lancaster Nursing & Rehab.

Born in Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late Aurele and Viola (Cote) Bourassa. He was the loving husband of Suzanne (Rousseau) Bourassa.

Robert was a proud veteran, serving in the US Army during the Korean War and US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending his time volunteering at the Lititz Senior Center where he loved playing cards, and he had volunteered as a crossing guard in Millersville. He enjoyed wood working and spending time in the outdoors fishing. Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

In addition to his wife, Suzanne, he is survived by his children: Michele (Douglas) Shaeffer, Michael (Maria) Bourassa, Linda (Rodger) Ungerecht, Mark (Sharon) Bourassa, Peter (David Baldwin) Bourassa, Brian (Dawn) Bourassa, and Joseph (Leslie) Bourassa; his siblings, Donald (Rena) Bourassa and Diane (Ronald) Cote; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Alice Belenger.

Family and friends will be received from 1PM to 2PM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Jr., Funeral Home and Crematory. A Memorial Service will follow at 2PM at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
