Condolences to the Family

I know this is over a year too late, but I have only just learned of Rick’s death this morning. I worked with Rick at Conestoga West Apt. from 1984 to 1987. My heart aches because he’s gone and because I have been unaware all this time. A better person than he is has never lived. He and Darlene are together in heaven. I went to school with Darlene and Vicki, whom I considered true friends. My condolences to his family. He will always be missed.

To Richard’s family,
Thank you for letting us know about Richard’s passing. One member of the Wennerström family has left us.
Gunveig and Estrid never had the opportunity to meet him, but what we have learnt about him he would have been a worthy person to inherit and take care of his grandfather’s homestead in Vepo, Finland. Things worked out in a different way, though.
Johan’s family met him on family reunions in the US. Maj-Gret and Ken also met him and his family.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. You are in our thoughts. May he rest in peace. Vila i frid.
Love, Estrid, Gunveig, Ken and Johan with family

I learned today of Rick’s passing; I spent many happy hours at Rick’s house, having dated his son Rich for 4 years.  My heart goes out to Carol, Rich and Sheri….they are a wonderful family, and I have so many memories of good times spent laughing with them on the weekends when I was in college.  My deep condolences to all of you…my thoughts will be with you all at this time.  Love, Nettie

Rick saved our butts when we first got into rental properties and we were so thankful. Over the years of working with him we got to know him as a kind, thoughtful and understanding man with the patience of a saint. He was always a joy to work with and he will be missed. We’ll keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
