Regina A. Webber, 85
Regina A. Webber, 85, of East Petersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace (Huben) Dewey.
Regina was preceded in death in 2004 by her husband of 54 years, Thomas A. Webber.
Regina graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1944 in Ashland, PA. She was a dental assistant for many years and later retired from RCA.
She was a longtime and active member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Her involvements and social activities include the Guys and Dolls Club at St. Philips, Mount Joy American Legion Post 185 auxiliary member and treasurer for many years, St. Anne Neumann Club, Sacred Heart Senior Citizens Club, Ephrata Polkateers with her husband prior to his passing, and walking with her Park City Senior Group.
Regina enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved family gatherings, her Park City friends, Casino excursions, forever pizza Thursday nights, and driving her car, but most importantly, her ability to live an independent lifestyle. She enjoyed life to the fullest in good health with a very loving and involved family who loved her and her spirit. We love you mom.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith A. Mundey, wife of Richard A., of Landisville, Mae E. Gray, wife of Kenneth, of Hagerstown, MD, two sons, Thomas A. Webber, Jr., husband of Jill, of Edgewater, MD, and James F. Webber, husband of Shari, of Bernville, PA, nine grandchildren, Derick A. Mundey, fiancé of Bizzy Burlinson, Washington D.C., Dara A. Bower, wife of Kevin, of Mountville, Dana A. Mundey, of Landisville, Diana A. Witmer, wife of Tim, of Lancaster, Austin K. Gray, husband of Leslie, of Waynesboro, Anika M. Niehans, wife of Mark, of Reading, Olivia J. Webber, of Bernville, Jack Webber, of Bernville, Michael Bucklin, of Reading, seven great grandchildren, Addalyn G. and Aubrey G. Bower, Dane O. and Peyton R. Witmer, Tobin K. Gray, Landon K. and McKenna G. Kinsey. She is also survived by a sister Bertha Malia, of Levittown.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 2427 Marietta Avenue Lancaster, PA 17601 with The Rev. Peter Hahn as Celebrant. A viewing will be held on Friday from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike and again at the church on Saturday from 10-11AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Regina’s memory to the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard P.O. Box 8601, Lancaster, PA 17604-8601. So very sad to hear of your Mother’s passing. Words are hard to find to describe the loss that everyone must be feeling during this time. All of the wonderful memories with her will live on here, as she goes home to once again be with Tom.
