Mrs Pugh made a lasting impression on me…when we were young girls I would sit with Linda and Leslie while they selected dresses that they wanted for school from the Sears or Montgomery Ward catalog. In no time at all, Mrs Pugh would sew not one, but two beautiful dresses for her girls exactly like the ones they chose.  Because of her, I learned to sew and made beautiful clothes, that no one could tell were home-made, for my daughters. I’m married have 2 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and 5 grandchildren…and I still sew.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jane (Hockensmith) Milkie
