Patricia K. (Springer) Ranck, 90
Patricia K. (Springer) Ranck,90, of Mountville PA passed away on October 4, 2025 at home. Born in Glen Rock, York County PA, she was the daughter of the late J. Kenneth Kisiner and Hattie Charlotte (Bubb) Kisiner.
Pat moved to Lancaster County in 1960 due to marriage and was a 1952 graduate of Glen Burnie HS where she received a degree in stenography studies.
Pat retired from her work as a secretary at Millersville University, and had also worked at Manheim Auto Auction, Kaiser Aluminum, Packaging Corp, and Baltimore Gas & Electric.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, and later in life attended Chiques United Methodist Church in Mount Joy PA.
Pat loved music and was a talented pianist. She also sang in the Phoenix All Girls Choir in Baltimore MD, the First United Methodist Church Choir, Chiques United Methodist Church Choir, and Four Season at Traditions of America Community Choir.
Pat was an accomplished seamstress and knitter and donated many ‘prayer shawls’ while attending Chiques United Methodist Church. Playing cards was a beloved family tradition, and she greatly enjoyed playing with friends and family throughout her life.
Pat made friends with just about everyone she met and could always find a friend wherever she went. Pat loved spending time with family most of all.
Pat is lovingly survived by two daughters, Lisa A. Cowan, wife of Paul David Cowan of Lancaster PA, and Karen L. Hersh of Mountville, PA; four grandchildren, Ashley Lubinski, wife of Steven Lubinski of Pittsburgh PA, Jenna Enterline, wife of Kris Enterline of Lancaster PA, Christine Kissinger, wife of Russell Kissinger of Columbia PA, and Christopher Hersh, husband of Jacqueline McLatchy of Kennett Square PA; six great-grandchildren, Steven and Emilia Lubinski of Pittsburgh PA, Hailey Enterline of Lancaster PA, Reagan and Maclan Hersh of Kennett Square PA and step-great-grandchild Camden Kissinger of Columbia PA.
Relatives and friends will be invited to a celebration of life memorial service on Saturday October 18, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA at 4pm with a time greeting prior beginning at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Lancaster can be made in Patricia’s honor.

Dear Karen & Lisa – We are very sorry for your loss…it is very difficult to lose a mother, no matter what her age. My friendship with Pat started during her time at Millersville and continued after her retirement. She was a special lady. I will miss her and think of her often. Please take care.
