Pat’s family of bygone days were good friends of my family in Concestoga, PA. Years ago she gave me a beautiful bowl that my grandparents gave Glenn and Pat when they married. I cherish the exquisite dish and have it on display. We had many wonderful times in Conestoga and Seibert. I am sorry to hear she is gone but know she is with Glenn and the Lord. Lenore Scanlin

Pat was my cousin, and we had some great adventures together
* As grade schoolers, we would rake piles of leaves together and outline rooms in a house with windows and doors.
* We ‘skinned the cat’ on the railing in front of her home. It had a steep drop off if we slipped on our grip of the railing.
*One Easter we had matching outfits created for us by my Mom. She was in pink and I was in blue – each with a matching bonnet from her Mom.
* As with all persons, we grew, moved away, married, had children, were widowed, and eventually moved back to the area we grew up in.
* We traveled to the Women of Faith Conference in Philadelphia, PA
* We spent a weekend in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, at a John Debrine conference. She just loved him, and I thought he could only speak in cliches or platitudes. That gentleman is deceased and can not defend himself. Twice we attended this conference over the years
* We listened to the Navy Band at the Rawlingsville Bible Conference music evenings
* We drove to Baltimore, MD to attend The Tattoo Ceremony featuring patriotic music, military pageantry, living history, and a concert by the U.S. Navy Band, Drill Team, and Color Guard
* We drove to the Blain, PA fairgrounds in Perry County, especially to purchase our share of stuffed hog maw (aka: pig stomach, or French Goose). The facilities included long rows of outchouses, and just outside the door, a wash basin full of water that contained floating insects and a bar of soap. You dried your hands by shaking off the water
* One year, I convinced Pat to attend and participate in the Senior Games in Lancaster, PA. They were held at the Franklin & Marshall College Gym. In one game, I was reaching to catch a basketball and over-reached and fell backwards onto my left wrist/hand. It broke. I peed my pants on the way down to the floor. The medics picked me up and stabilized me so that Pat could drive me to the ER.
* Pat, Jane Titzell, a cousin, and I drove out to Papillion, NB, to visit our Uncle Bub (Benjamin Fisher) and stay with him for a few days. We drove to his home twice over the years. And then on the third trip, it was to visit him in the nursing home.
* Again, as for all people, time has passed, and we find ourselves needing to receive care and give up our former way of doing things as caregivers.
* Pat was my cousin, but more than that, she was my friend… Shirley I Paul

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Pat’s passing. She was always my favorite aunt and had the best laugh! Now all the sisters will be together again.
With deepest sympathy to the family Carol (Ensminger) Rednak
