August 28, 1955 - May 02, 2022
Pamela A. Chillemi-Yeager, 66, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at the Lancaster General Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born in Clearfield, PA, the daughter of the late Antonio and Philomena (Martin) Chillemi.
Pam shared 39 years of marriage with her loving husband Don Yeager. She was a proud mother to her wonderful son, Anthony. Don, Pam, and Anthony previously lived in Charlotte, NC for 15 years before moving back to Pennsylvania. Anthony remains in Charlotte employed in the financial sector.
She graduated from Clearfield High School, completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work at Elizabethtown College, and her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Temple University. She was a published writer of mystery and horror novels. Her work included the “Christmas” series, “The Cooking Class” and “Skull Feeder.”
A very outgoing person Pam loved to talk with anyone, and she was always making new friends. Pam was an avid reader, who devoured anything about the Royal Family. She enjoyed Pop Culture and Reality Television. She also could talk extensively about celebrity trials the last involving the Duggars and Amber Heard v. Johnny Depp. In addition to being a good friend, Pam loved her animals, two dogs and a cat, and her many previous pets.
Husband Don feels that he couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Also surviving Pam is her sister, Maria Chillemi of State College, PA.

Shocked to find this out! Been trying to connect with her, but couldn’t. Pam has been a wonderful friend for so many years. I tried to connect with her, but was unable in the past couple years. Sent her a card but it came back undelivered.
I know she is in Heaven with the Lord and I will see her again some day. Miss you dear friend!
Love, Carol Heisler

I was sad to see Pam died. I watched her grow as a child because we lived below where her parents rented. I lost track of her after we moved but my brother was friends with her.

I am so sorry to hear of Pam’s passing. I went to high school with her and we conversed via messenger. When my husband died, she was a source of solace for me. I was wondering why she hadn’t posted lately on Facebook. She loved Anthony and Don with her whole heart. May peace and love be a comfort to both of them.

I just heard of Pam’s passing last night. I was shocked and am so very saddened for your loss. Pam was such a creative free spirit. I directed her in her first play in HS and my dad directed her as well in early years. She and I recently connected via very long posts to one another on fb. 💔😢💙

Don and Anthony, So sad to hear this news… I was Pam’s theatre classmate at Elizabethtown College. We also shared a house during the summer after college during which Pam helped me proofread our yearbook. I loved following her observations via social media for the past years as well. Sending empathy.

While Pam and I went to the same high school and graduated in the same class I really didn’t get to know her until we realized we were both living in Lancaster. While our friendship was not as long as I would have wished I will always treasure our late night conversations and dinners together. Pam was such a bright, creative, intelligent and fun person. I am so sorry for Don and AJ for losing such a special person. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Pam will be missed.

I am so sad about this. In one of our recent chats, I told Pam that I wished that I had known her more back when we were in high school, because I could really relate to her as a creative person and just really liked her….we were on the same page about a lot of things. Facebook gave us a chance to get to know each other better with some wonderful chats and then I also got to see her a couple of times in the past 10 years. I still can’t believe it. RIP Pam, I will miss you! And hugs and prayers to you, Don and AJ.
