Noreen Estella
Graver
January 15, 2026
Noreen Estella Graver, 91, of Millersville, PA, passed away on January 15, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Hetlerville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Abram and Emma Aletha Spaide. Noreen was the wife of the late Donald Clay Graver.
Noreen was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to talk to people, so the jobs she chose throughout her life reflected that. Upon moving to Lancaster in the 1950s, she was a secretary at Hamilton Watch, later a waitress at the Brunswick and Willow Valley. Noreen and her husband owned two bars in Lancaster as well as Harbor Woods Boarding Kennel. After retirement, she enjoyed meeting up with friends for coffee and conversation at local diners. She loved being in the countryside and tending to flowers and birdwatching at her home. Her favorites were the flowering mock orange and bright red cardinals.
Noreen is survived by daughters: Cinthia K. Rathvon of Nescopeck, Lynn M. Graver of Millersville, Kim Graver of Millersville; a son, Donald Clay Graver, Jr.; three grandsons: Wade Graver, Brandon Graver and Daniel Cronin; eight great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws: Leona Spaide (Abram Jr.) of Nescopeck and Nancy Spaide (Leonard) of Berwick, PA; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dr. Gail A. Graver-Huber; and six brothers: Clarence, Frederick, Wilbur, Howard, Abram Jr and Leonard; two sisters: Beldene Pendelton (Tex) and Olive Ruckle (Fred).
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Noreen loved animals. In her memory, please contribute to an animal rescue of your choice.
