September 25, 2025
Nevin C. Dierwechter, 85, of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Brethren Village. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles and Elverta (Getz) Dierwechter. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Devine) Dierwechter, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage.
Nevin was a 1958 graduate of Ephrata High School. He went on to further his education at West Chester University, Penn State University, and Loyola College, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Masters in Business Administration. He devoted his career to his profession as an accountant, serving others with integrity and diligence.
A man of many interests, Nevin was an avid Penn State football fan who rarely missed watching a game. He enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach, tending to his yard, and spending time with his church family at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, where his faith was an important part of his life.
Above all, Nevin cherished his family. In addition to his wife
Carol, he is survived by his son Steven Dierwechter, husband of Darlene, of New Cumberland; his grandchildren, Julia and Connor Dierwechter, and Allegra and Dante Luciano. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Shank of Ephrata, as well as one niece and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17604 or to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522.
