Mildred “Millie” Pedelini, 100

November 27, 2025

Mildred “Millie” Pedelini, 100, of Wilmington, DE and Lititz, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Everett Pegan and Sarah (Maxwell) Pegan. She was also the loving wife to Francis “Frank” Pedelini for over 50 years before his passing in 2011.

Millie was a 1943 graduate of Wilmington High School and spent much of her life in various administrative positions. Outside of work, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her cats. She bowled in multiple bowling leagues weekly and continued into her nineties, and on Saturday nights you could often find her and Frank swing dancing together. She was driven, devoted to her family, and had an unforgettable energy with everyone she met.

Millie is survived by her children, Gail Brittingham and Guy Pedelini (Julie); grandchildren Jackie Brittingham, Joya Pedelini, Carla Bennett (Anthony), Meri Belcher (Jesse), Amber Tully (Isaac), Almonta Smith, and Daniel Pedelini; and great-grandchildren Zeppelin, Daisy, Hope, Hayden, Aurora, and Atlas. She was preceded in passing by her son, Frank Pedelini.

Friends and family will be welcomed on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543 from 10:30 to 11AM with a short service to follow at 11. Millie will be laid to rest in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Millie’s name may be made to the Brethren Village Benevolent Fund at 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543; the Lancaster SPCA at pspca.org/lancaster; or to Saint Helena’s Church in Wilmington DE at SaintHelenas.org.
