Milagros Fuentes Rodriguez, 74
April 24, 1945 - February 22, 2020
Milagros Fuentes Rodriguez was born April 24, 1945, to Maria Rivera, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Milagros went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 22, 2020, in Akron Pennsylvania surrounded with love by her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bishop Carmelo Rodriguez, her children, Carmelo Jr., William, Elizabeth (Robert), Edwin (Wilberta), George (Luis), and Theresa (Justin). She is also survived by 2 siblings, Carmen (Hector) and Jose.
Milagros was the Matriarch to a large, loving family. She was a homemaker and a mother to many foster children over 40 years. She will be greatly missed by her 27 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and many family and friends. Milagros’ legacy will live on forever in the lives of everyone she touched. We appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community.
Family and friends will be received from 5PM to 8PM, Monday, March 2, 2020 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the funeral home. A viewing will be held from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Interment at Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata will follow the service.

To my beloved Rodriguez family. My family and I mourn along with you. We pray for peace, comfort and strength for you all and everyone who knew and loved her, as we face the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and the most dearest and beloved friend. Our greatest comfort is knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we will see her again. We love you all greatly!
