I met Mike in kindergarten and he swiftly became my best friend. I assumed the song “Michael, row your boat ashore” was about him, because at that age I heard “Michael Rowe – your boat ashore”. He moved away, then I moved even further away, and we drifted apart. I’ve always thought of him, wondering what he was up to, because we were really close. When the “Dirty Jobs” show came on TV I watched, hoping the host would be him, but, alas it wasn’t. I sure wish I would’ve gotten to see him again. Condolences, Mary K. Feel free to write.

My condolences to Easy’s family. You may be gone but never forgotten. I wish I could have spend more time with you to hear more stores. The time I did spend talking with you I will cherish. On the other side we will ride, ride, ride and party, party, party.

Mike’s presence in my life was years ago in Millersville. As kids he encouraged me to be daring on my skateboard (his driveway half-pipe was a highlight) and he introduced me to the music of RUSH, which I appreciate to this day. His happy personality was as independent as they come. I am sure he is missed by all those he touched and most definitely left the world a better place.

Mike was a fun part of my school years. Pretty sure we raised some hell in those days. I’m sad we lost contact. May time bring you peace with your loss. Lori Rankin Longenecker

Remember me when you ride. I’ll always be by your side. Don’t judge me by what I wear. As a brother I’ll always be there. When you think of me. Try not to cry. For I am on my Harley riding in the sky. A brother I was from the very start. Please keep my spirit alive within your heart.

Good by my friend. Your wit, wisdom, crazy sense of humor, and, above all, your loyalty, will be remembered by all who knew you. Ride on. Ride free. Ride in peace forever with the great ones who left before you.
