Mary “Jane” Foulke
Mary “Jane” Foulke died Monday, March 24, 2008, at the age of 91 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia, PA. She previously lived at 1722 Windy Hill Road. She was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Adam M. and Jennie M. Dillich
She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Lancaster Catholic High School and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Jane was the wife of the late Edward D. Foulke, Sr., who died in 2004 after 63 years of marriage. She was the operator and owner of a beauty shop in Lancaster in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
She is survived by a son, Edward D. Jr. married to Beth A. Foulke of Lancaster; a daughter, Patricia Renner of Akron; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Janet M. Murray.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Anne’s Retirement Community 3952 Columbia Ave, Columbia PA 17512 or Hospice of Lancaster County 685 Good Dr., Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne’s Retirement Community Chapel, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia 17512. A viewing will be held from 10:30 until time of service. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
