Mary Kathryn Rowe, 85

Mary Kathryn Rowe, 85, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James William Huss and Kathryn Elizabeth James. She was married 39 years to William M. Rowe prior to his passing in 2005.

Mary K., also affectionately referred to as MomMom, was an extremely hardworking and compassionate person. She graduated from Penn Manor High School and immediately entered the working world, owning MKM Real Estate and Arbor Park. A generous soul, Mary would provide a Christmas filled with love and gifts to the children living at the park. Mary was proficient in needlework and cross-stitch, enjoyed visiting art shows, and never passed up a good chicken BBQ. She was thoughtful, warm, kind, and very direct when she needed to be. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary K. is survived by 5 grandchildren: Shane Rowe (Brianna), Kirk Newcomer, Alaina Newcomer, Benjamin Rowe (Liberty), and Sierra Rowe (Stacy); 6 great-grandchildren: Layla, Preston, Raylon, Harley, Oakley, and Dallas; stepson Scott Rowe, longtime friend John Feltch, and a host of beloved extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Rowe.

A casual gathering will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 9 AM – 12 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A graveside service will immediately follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
