Mary Jane Everhart, 71, of New Providence, PA, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Mary Jane was a talented photographer, a passionate nature enthusiast, and a dedicated equestrian. She cherished her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Deeply proud of her Native American heritage, she was a member of the Cherokee and Lenape Nations.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Anne Sciamanna and Kelly Elizabeth Hannigan, along with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mary Jane’s kind and loving heart touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

She was a very loving person.  From the moment I met her I knew how kind and wonderful she was.  She and my husband would get together with her every couple of months, until it stopped….we sure will miss you sister MJ.
