Mary Jane (Clark) Lumsden, 88

Mary Jane (Clark) Lumsden, 88, of Lancaster and Naples, FL, entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2017, at her home in Naples, FL. Born in Marietta, OH, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Wasson) Clark. Mary Jane was married to Alexander Duncan Lumsden until his death in 2014.
She attended Kent State University prior to raising her family, and served as Secretary of Lumsden Corporation. Mary Jane held memberships at Lancaster Country Club, the Hamilton Club, where she was a member of the duckpin bowling league, and the Club at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL. She was an active member at St. James Episcopal Church, was active with Planned Parenthood, and enjoyed playing bridge.
Mary Jane is survived by her two children, Monica Farrell, of Fort Myers, FL, and Arthur J. Lumsden, husband of Mary (Gallagher), of Lancaster. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Grant & Clayton Farrell, Caroline, Allison & Clark Lumsden, and a sister, Joan Froelich, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Mary Jane was preceded in death by a son, Clark D. Lumsden.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA at 11:00AM with The Rev. Lauren Schoeck officiating. Friends and family will be received at a closed casket visitation for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 119 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
