Love you Grandma. I can totally see Mary apart of some “glee” club as mentioned. That was her flowerful, colorful, wonderful hearted attitude about everything. She always beemed with positivitiy unseen in todays society as much. She was the person to leave extra tip, give a random stranger a compliment in line at a grocery store. Loved the decorations, pool parties, and cooking secrets she shared. HER, legacy continues and now with her love Lou with her in heaven. I know he longed her return, as she held on thru ups and downs over the past years. It was like her spirit so strong wanted to continue to make a difference in as many lives as possible. I know she made a difference in my mom’s and my whole families. And she will be missed greatly. With a smile as I look up I, I know I will do the best I can to attempt to help others for the rest of my life. A great inspiration to all, Mary E. Doerr, we love and will miss you. My Grandma was strong, poised, loving, charming and graceful. I loved her very much and will always remember the summers we had playing in the pool in Wilmington. You will forever remain in my heart and soul, guiding me to become even half the woman you were. Kathryn Devlin – Grandaughter.
