Margaret R. Jackson, 80

Margaret R. (Paparo) Jackson, 80, of Lancaster, passed away, Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Glen at Willow Valley. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Catherine (Valentino) Paparo. Margaret was the wife of Warren F. Jackson with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage this past May 10th.

Margaret was a 1948 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. She was employed by Interstate Finance and later Jackson Window Shoppe Inc. as an Office Manager. She attended Sacred Heart and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church’s. Margaret enjoyed traveling, movies, music, dancing and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband Warren is a son; Bruce S. Jackson of Lancaster. 3 grandchildren; Brian M. Jackson husband of Sarah of Lancaster, Lindsay Kauffman wife of David of Willow Street, and Coleen Jackson of Lancaster. 2 great grandchildren. And a sister; Mary Frahm of Mount Holly, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 501 E. Orange St. Lancaster PA 17602 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends will be received at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. before the service from 9a.m.-10a.m. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
