A. Lydia Bleecher, 96

Lydia Bleecher, 96 of West Willow, passed away October 15, 2013, at Conestoga View , with the support of Hospice & Community Care. She was the wife of the late James M. Bleecher, who passed away in 1982.She was born in Bart Township to the late Katie and Frank Thompson. She graduated from Bart High School.

Lydia is survived by a sister, Kathryn Hohenwarter, a nephew, George Hohenwarter (Mary Lou), and a niece, Meda Miller (Vincent). In addition, she is survived by, two sons : James Bleecher (Arlene), and Carl Bleecher (Marie); a stepdaughter Geraldine Maurer, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth E. Bleecher and her sister, Laura Mowery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 18 , 2013, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 North George Street, Millersville, followed by the Funeral Service at 11AM, the Rev. Wilmer Martin officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lydia’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Rd., Willow Street, PA 17584.

We are so sorry to hear the passing of your mother Lydia, She would always ask how mom is doing. My mother Mary will miss her, I thank your mother for all the times she left me know that mom was not doing well.
