Luis Sanchez-Gomez of Lancaster, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away at his home on February 16, 2024, after a valiant battle with renal disease. He was born in Puerto Rico in the fall of 1969 to Luz M. Gomez and the late German Sanchez.

Luis was a man of many talents and passions, but perhaps none greater than his love for music. He found joy in playing the piano, particularly Christian hymns. His music was a reflection of his faith and brought comfort to many.

Beyond his musical talents, Luis was a devoted family man. He cherished spending time with his wife, Norma Rodriguez, and their children Kristian, Kairy, Kiara, Kimberly, and Kevy. Whether it was going for walks together or enjoying afternoons at the park, Luis treasured every moment spent with his beloved family. His good sense of humor brought light into their lives even during the darkest of times.

Luis is survived by his loving wife Norma, their children, and his siblings Jesus Manuel Sanchez, Jannette Sanchez, Ele Sanchez, German Sanchez, Benjamin Sanchez, Marisol Sanchez, and Luz Evelyn Sanchez.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Luis’s life will be held at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 11 am. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing one hour prior to the service. Following the conclusion of the service, Luis will be laid to rest, leaving behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy of love and laughter.
