Luis A. Villa, II, 41

Luis A. Villa, II, 41, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014.
He was the husband of Maribel Maldonado Villa, with whom he shared 13 years of marriage this past August 1st. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Luis Villa of Harrisburg and Brenda Espinosa of Lancaster.
An accomplished artist, Luis had earned a BA in Media Arts and a BFA in Sculpture, both from the University of Arizona. His talents included painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. He was a huge fan of cartoons, comics, Stars Wars and the JRR Tolkien literature series. Luis had worked on several independent films with the NALIP Producers Academy. He also enjoyed spending time with his children.
He had served in the US Navy during the Persian Gulf War.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his 3 sons: Bradley Vertigan of Downingtown, and Logan and Lucian Villa, both of Lancaster; and by his siblings: Steven Villa of Lebanon, and Joel Espinosa Jr., Purnell Espinosa, April Espinosa, Jeanette Espinosa, and Zachary Espinosa, all of Lancaster.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6-7PM at Iglesia Carismatica Maranatha, 735 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA, with the Funeral Service to follow at 7PM, Pastor Isais Maldonado officiating

My name is Amanda and I used to work with Luis at Officemax. (We may have met once or twice.) I wanted to tell you I’m sorry for your loss. Luis was an awesome guy to work with and was very smart. I’m very blessed to have known him. You and your family are in my prayers. May God be with you in your time of mourning.
