January 29, 2026
Lloyd E. Ulmer, 82, of Millersville, passed away on January 29, 2026.
He was the husband of Sharon “Sherry” A. McCulley Ulmer, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage this past July 6th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Janet Aston Ulmer.

In addition to his wife, Sherry, he is survived by his children: John E. married to Lisa Ulmer of Downingtown, and Krisi A. married to Joe Ditmer of Lancaster; his grandsons Derek Ulmer (his fiancée Caroline), Ryan Ulmer, Adam Ditmer, and Alex Ditmer; his siblings Terry Hollingsworth and Lisa Louderback; and his sister-in-law Carol Heine.
Friends will be received by Lloyd’s family from 10-11AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. Mrs. Ulmer, John, Kristi and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have such fond memories of hanging out at your house while in high school and Mr. Ulmer would share his current musical tastes. Although you may not realize, I have always thought of him when Rick James “SuperFreak” was played. Mr. Ulmer introduced me to him and other good music during that time. I have many great memories of that time. Sending prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
