Lisa K. Colón, 51
July 3, 1974 - August 21, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Lisa K. Colón, 51, of Lancaster City, who went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2025. Born on July 3, 1974, in Asheville, North Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of Reva Hall and the late Raymond Hall.
Lisa was a woman of faith, courage, and compassion whose life was defined by service to others. She poured her heart into her family and community, always giving more than she received. She found joy in the arts—music, dance, and poetry—and carried a creative spirit that brightened the lives of those around her.
Her commitment to her community was unwavering. Lisa volunteered at local homeless shelters, the Lancaster City Parks Department, the Lancaster Republican Committee, Adopt-a-Block, and countless other causes close to her heart. She was honored as a Woman of Influence by the Central Penn Business Journal for her professional and community achievements, and she proudly served as president of the Blue Star Moms Committee, uplifting and supporting military families.
Making history as the first woman elected Controller of Lancaster County, Lisa carried that responsibility with honor and humility. Yet, her proudest achievements were never titles—they were the lives she touched through her love and faith. Even in the midst of her own battle with cancer, Lisa’s courage and devotion to God led her to Cambodia, where she risked her health to preach the Gospel and teach women how to study the Bible. Her selflessness and strength continue to inspire all who knew her.
Lisa’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Reali Colón; her children, Isreali Colón, Victoria Colón, and Realina Colón; her grandchildren, Davida Colón, Lisana Frankhouser Colón, and Esther Colón; her mother, Reva Hall; and her sisters, Cristina Moore, Amanda Hawn, Sharon Groff, Tiffany Hall, Rachel Hall, and Michelle Hall. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Hall, and her brother, Kevin Hall.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lisa’s life on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. The family welcomes guests to a viewing from 10 AM – 1 PM, with a service beginning at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
Lisa’s love, faith, and generosity left a mark on everyone she met. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of service, kindness, and unwavering strength will live on forever in her family, her community, and the countless lives she touched.

Lisa was such a light to all who knew her. She loved everyone and saw potential to serve in any situation. No doubt she is with Jesus and has heard the words:
“Her lord said unto her, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” Matthew 25:21

Lisa and I were acquainted through the Lancaster City Republican Committee and various community projects. Lisa was a tireless supporter of Lancaster City. I will remember her as a uniquely pleasant individual with a quiet strength and ready smile. It was always a joy to “bump” in to her on occasion and catch up with each other. My deepest sympathy to Lisa’s family. Larry Roskos

Lisa Colon introduced herself to me when I reached out to her about pursuing a position with Lancaster City Council. At that time, in her role as Lancaster City Republican Chair, she convinced me to run for mayor. Lisa served as my campaign treasurer and my Chief cheerleader. We spent hours together knocking on doors and attending events. She was no-nonsense with the kindest heart. She cared deeply about her family, her community, and her faith. She is one of those rare individuals who comes into your life for a brief moment, but leaves a lasting impression. Rest easy, Lisa. You will be missed.
