Linda J. Eichmann, 82

July 23, 2025

Linda J. Eichmann, 82, of East Petersburg, passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Helen L. Miller.

Linda graduated from McCaskey High School, class of 1961. She retired from Armstrong where she met a wonderful bunch of friends. She was a faithful member of Salem Lutheran Church and loved taking her great granddaughter Kendyl along. She loved her monthly luncheons with the ladies, and reading her James Patterson books.

Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She loved craft shows with her daughter Teri, and weekly luncheons with her youngest daughter Pam, and visits with Shelli, her oldest daughter, who was always in trouble for something.

She is survived by her three children, Shelli Bracken (Greg) of Lancaster, Teri Houck, of Columbia, and Pam Eichmann, of Willow Street. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kyle Gardner, Kira Heiser (Kyle), Krystina Deutsch (Greg), and Shayla Barley. Six great grandchildren, Jaedyn Gardner, Kendyl Heiser, Evan Knight, Jacob Mateo, Isabella Deutsch, and Annabella Deutsch. She is also survived by one sibling Marie Senseman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Service at Salem Lutheran Church, 26 Owl Hill Rd, Lititz, PA on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 4 PM with a time of gathering to follow. There will be a celebration of life at the Riverside Camping Association, 730 E Strawberry St, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, August 2, 2025, on the patio from 12-3. So sorry. Will miss you at the 1961 class picnics.  You and your sister were the greatest dancers at Reynolds.  Always a smile and a sense of humor and the one person to ask if I was wearing a wig at our last reunion.   (I was)

Dear Linnie! You touched so many lives & we will never forget you. We became the best kind of friends my very first day at Armstrong when you & Sharon invited me to join you for lunch. Of course, then you asked Sharon if I was going to eat with you EVERY day, since I must have misunderstood the invite & JOINED you every day. With your sense of humor, I knew you’d become a dear friend of mine. “Eunie & Ed” have so many fond memories–lots of beach vacations, many roast beef dinners on Fridays, and so many happy times. I miss you! Heaven gained a true gem! ❤️

Oh Linda (mummy) you are at peace and heaven has gained someone very special.  I will always cherish our memories when I was so young at Armstrong and had so much fun with you.  I will never forget our trip to Bermuda and all the great times Tom and I had with you.  You showed me many good times and now our time and talks together the last several months you showed me how to die with grace.  I will never forget you.
Love,
Patti Brubaker

Linda my dear friend, I miss you already. We worked together at Armstrong for many years. When I said I was retiring, you said not without you. You changed your date. 4 of us retired 22 years ago, but we kept active. We met for lunches to keep in touch. Loved all the special times and stories. Rest in peace.

Oh Linnie, my dear friend.  From the time we met at Armstrong back in 1976, we became great friends.  We took a cruise together, went to the beach, danced and partied together (oh my) and you always made me laugh.  I am going to miss you so much but I will always treasure our friendship and time spent together!  Rest peacefully now and keep things hopping up there in heaven I know you will)! 💗 Donna Clark

Nan you were truly our light and the glue that held us all together. I am forever grateful that my children, your great grandchildren got to experience the love I did as well. I hope you and nanny goat aren’t causing too much trouble already. We miss you and love you ever so much ♥️ Kira Heiser

My great grandmother was one of my greatest joys in my life she loved to call me all the time to see how my day was or even to just talk my ear off and she loved having me over and taking me to church with her. She loved taking me to lunch after church, we always looked forward to that. She always sent me voicemails to see if I wasn’t busy and if I got a minute to call her back🥹.   -Kendyl Heiser ❤️

I will miss you so much. I remember so fondly when you came over with your granddaughter to see my Rottweiler puppies. I think you loved dogs as much as me. You were one of my best friends in the church, both at Zion and Salem. Paula Fultz
