Karl J. Guenther, 85
September 17, 2024
Karl J. Guenther, 85, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Ephrata Manor.
Born in Hazelton, PA, he was the son of the late John and Lucille (Blamey) Guenther. He was the husband of Carol E. (Reimold) Guenther.
Karl was a lifetime member of the Masons. Alongside his wife, he was an active member of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. Karl’s passions were many. An avid sports fan, he cheered for the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Phillies, Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Philadelphia Flyers, among other teams. He also enjoyed woodworking, a hobby through which he crafted cherished pieces. Karl also had a keen interest in traveling, trains, and listening to country music. His green thumb was evident in the care he took with his vegetable garden.
He is survived by his wife, Carol E. Guenther; his daughters, Karen (Drew) Murphy, Rebecca (Paul) Schaaf, and Lori (Paul) DeLucca; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bruce Guenther.

So sorry to hear the news. Your dad was so kind towards me and was always willing to give me a few tips on how to improve while playing basketball. RIP
