I first met Karin in Vo-Tech around 1974 or 1975..We were only acquaintances then, but re-connected years later! She was very energetic and amiable to all that she met! She was my hairdresser for many years, as well as my hubby’s.. She loved her flowers and gardening.. For the last 10 years, she was one of my best friends and confidantes..I am so saddened by her death.. I still want to pick up the phone and call her! She will be missed by many!! My condolences to Rock and Adam and his family! Love, Malinda and Earl Malinda Smith

I met Karen through working at Holiday Hair in New Holland and boy what a woman she was. Never afraid to speak her mind. My heart hurts for her loved ones in this tragic time. She will be missed greatly.

I wish to express my sincerest condolence to Karen’s family. I met Karen in our senior year of high school through a mutual friend in the Cosmetology Class. We dated through the year. I thought she was the love of my life. Upon graduation I entered the Navy. I never saw her again. I often thought it would be nice to see her again. After all these years, it hurts to read this sad news.

Adam, please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your mother. I have thought about you two so much since preschool days. She and you meant so much to me. Have wondered so many times where you were and how you and your family were doing. Your Mom was a very special person. She left so many wonderful memories with me. Wonderful Lady! Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Priscilla Sears, your preschool teacher. Much Love!
