Justina A. Davila, 85

Justina A. Davila, 85, of Lancaster passed away peacefully Friday, April 5, 2024. Born in Juncos, PR, she was the daughter of the late Bernabe Arzuaga and Flora Davila. She was the loving wife of Abdon Davila with whom she shared over 65 years of marriage.

She worked as a housekeeping supervisor at the Eden Resort before retiring in 2004. Justina enjoyed traveling and was a longtime member of the YMCA in Lancaster. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Justina was a longtime member of First Spanish Assembly of God in Lancaster.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Isaias “Jessie” Davila husband of Sandra and Abdon Davila Jr husband of Myosotis. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, to celebrate Justina’s life at First Spanish Assembly of God, 626 S. Duke St, Lancaster, PA. Interment will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 7-9PM at the church on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, and again from 10-11AM at the church on Wednesday.

Words cannot explain when we lose someone so important in our lives to her two sons that I knew a long time to her husband I wish that God gives you the peace this is not going to be easy but one thing we have our faith that we will see her again in heaven palabras no pueden explicar cuando uno pierde a una persona tan importante en nuestra vida a los hijos que conozco muchos años y a su esposo le pido al Señor que le dé paz en este tiempo de dolor porque ha perdido una persona muy importante en su vida de parte mía mis abrazos mis oraciones Los amo mucho Ivan Acosta-Velez
