Julianna “Judy” F. Hauk, 85
September 01, 2025
Julianna “Judy” F. Hauk, 85, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. Born in Elmora, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur T. and Leona F. (Feightner) McCoy. She was also the devoted wife to William D. Hauk, Sr. until his passing in 2002.
A graduate of John Carroll High School in 1957 and IUP in 1959, Judy spent over 17 years working as a Sales Coordinator for Sears. Outside of work, Judy was devout in her Catholic faith, being a 50-year member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She also enjoyed bingo, bowling with the Roses and Thorns Bowling League, and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her quick wit and snappy one-liners.
Judy is preceded in passing by her siblings, Chester (Nancy) McCoy, James (Pat) McCoy, and Arthur McCoy. She is survived by her children, George (Marie) Hauk, Carol (Danny) McNemar, Katherine Hauk, and William Hauk, Jr. (Helen Griffith); siblings Patricia Dunn, Pauline Bender, Georgianna Weese, Joseph (Bonnie) McCoy, and Donald (Julie) McCoy; as well as 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be welcomed on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10-11AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 558 W Walnut St., with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Judy will be laid to rest privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, or the Knights of Columbus Council #867.

You will be missed, Mom! I had been so blessed to have the time and opportunity to assist you and Kathy for 2 years. We had great times bonding, sharing stories. Now you have a forever seat on the porch ( in heaven) with your husband who you have been waiting to unite. I love you! ❤️ RIP Sweet Angel Helen G.

Aunt Judy you were one very special lady! I looked at this picture of you and all I heard was your voice saying “look at that sh*t eatin’ grin!” and then you laughed and I can hear the sound of your laughter ringing in my head; I hope that it never fades away. Give everyone up there a big hug just as soon as you’ve finished catching up with Uncle Bill. ❤️ Tanya McCoy-Caretti

‘Mom’
I love you so much. I will miss our breakfasts together with ‘the girls’, your stories of growing up, and seeing you at Mass. I thank you for all your love. <3Sharon Werhel

It was a pleasure knowing you and being your bingo partner these last few years. I loved hearing of your childhood and your life growing up in the coal region. Very quick with your wit, you always made me laugh. I will miss you very much. Carol Kent
