Judith Evelyn Larsen, 83

October 01, 2024

Judith Evelyn Larsen, 83, of Lancaster, died on October 1, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Queens, New York she was the daughter of the late Harry and Doris Hall Kennedy. She is survived by her beloved husband Norman Larsen. A Homemaker, Judith graciously opened the doors of her home to over thirteen foster children for over 25 years. She was a faithful member of United Methodist West Lampeter Church. Judith loved designing floral pieces, arts and crafts and baking. She enjoyed many trips to both the Jersey Shore and Florida to go camping. Judith was an animal lover and was devoted to her faith and church.

Surviving are two children, Brenda Larsen and Robert Larsen, nine grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Samantha, Jake, Jessica, Kayleen, Evelyn, Tessa, and Avery. Preceding her in death was a son, Richard Larsen.

The family wants to extend their deepest thanks to the staff of Arcadia Home Care, Comfort Care, and Devita Dialysis for their most sincere and extensive care they provided to Judith during her illness. As well as friends Sterling, Jerry, and Carol. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you; and are forever indebted to you for every act of kindness and generosity exemplified to Judith.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Judith’s Funeral Service at United Methodist West Lampeter Church, 1101 Village Road, Lampeter, PA 17537, on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Judith was a very kind person. Rest in peace, and may our Lord and Savior Jesus remember your good works.

I only knew Judy for too short a time, but her heart for the Lord, and for everyone, was huge. She was a lovely woman and I am glad I got to know her. I will miss her in church, but I know she is with her Lord and Savior and we will meet again someday. Rest easy Judy.
