Joyce E. Kennedy, 40

Joyce E. Kennedy, 40, of Lancaster, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 14th.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Judith Lehman of Lancaster.

Joyce had worked at Burger King for the past 14 years. She enjoyed country music and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Tammy Kennedy, her nieces Tina and Alicia; her nephew Timmy, her great niece Isabell and several aunts, Joyce, Donna, and Sharon.

A  memorial service will be held on Saturday October 24th at 6PM at the Silver Spring Baptist Church, 4001 Marietta Ave., Columbia, PA 17512 with the Rev. James King officiating. Please make contributions in Joyce’s memory to the Silver Spring Baptist Church. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 393-9661. Joyce was my co-worker and friend at Long John Silvers.  We had lots of good times together. I wish she could have visited me in Florida. I’ll never forget that infectous laugh she had. She will be sadly missed.

my name is barbara wyland and i want to express my deepest sympathies for your loss. i worked with joyce at burger king and will miss her very much. she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she came in contact with and the job and even when she wasn’t working at burger king.i won’t be able to attend the service due to my work schedule. but joyce is in my thoughts as are you and your family.

Joyce was a long time friend of mine for over 14 years. Anytime I worked with her or spoke to her  one the phone she always made me laugh, she brightened up my day always. No matter what was going on she made my day so much brighter and happier. Happiness and laughter is what Joyce gave to those who knew her, she will be GREATLY missed. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Joyce an i worked at burger king together for the last 14 yrs. She new how to make your day brighter with her smile an her laugh. My prayers are with the family. Joyce was one of my best friends she will be missed greatly. Where ever she is in heaven she will make it brighter. I will always love you Joyce i miss you sadly.
