Dear Georgia, I was so shocked to hear of your husband’s passing. I was so glad you stopped by Knight and Day Diner to let me know. We have been missing you for a few weeks and were wondering why. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and the family, with many prayers. I hope your daughter and son-in-law bring you to the diner again soon. Janet is thinking of you also. We love you. Hello Georgia,
I was saddened to hear of Joe’s passing last month.
He was a dear and valued Highschool friend. Joe was an especially kind man. In reading his obituary, I was so glad to hear about the full and rich life he lived with you and his family. He deserved every happiness.
I don’t know if you recall meeting me years ago. I visited you and Joe in your Lebanon apartment with my brother Ira and his wife Ettie.
My husband Gordon joins me in wishing you and your family many blessings as you move through your loss.
With very best regards,
Marcia Mogetz Grimsley

Georgia and Family,
I have fond memories of both you and Joe working at Long Neck Elementary School in Delaware. The two of you were such a strong, caring, and positive presence for all our students and staff. Your presence resignated throughout our school building and I have fond memories of our chats when you stopped by my office. Lori Johnson

Both Penny and I were deeply saddened by the news of Joe’s passing. We were friends and teammates throughout high school. We reconnected when our granddaughters competed against each other in high school sports. It was always enjoyable seeing Joe at these events. Our prayers are with Georgia and her family during this time.

I just heard of Joe’s passing. Joe was my best friend in high school a member of my wedding party. We spent many days fishing together or just spending time together. Our families vacationed in Ocean City, Md as well. He was a very reliable, trustworthy, and an all around great guy! He will always be remembered fondly in my thoughts! I will miss you “big guy”!
