To the May family,
I wanted to let you know how much my parents, John and Marian Jerrell (who lived up the hall from him) liked John. He often helped them by running errands and getting groceries. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with him three years ago when my father and I were sitting out on the picnic table eating lunch. I am sorry about your loss. Mindy Watkins

Dear George and Jim,
I appreciated getting to  know John through fellowship at our church. I soon came to know that we were “like-minded” in the things that matter. His presence and fellowship are missed, but we wil continue it in Heavenly fashion in the future. May the Lord comfort each of you in the hope we have in Christ.
With sympathy.
