John R. “Jack” Shultz, 86

John R. “Jack” Shultz, age 86, of Masonic Village, formerly of Willow Street, passed away May 7, 2025. He was born in Lancaster to the late O. Raymond and Dorothy (Gantz) Shultz.
Many will remember Jack’s dedicated years at IBM, where he retired as a field service technician. He was the owner and operator of Shultz Haus woodworking company and worked many years as grounds and maintenance for Lancaster Toyota Mazda. He was truly a Jack of all trades. In his free time, he was an avid black powder target shooter, licensed small planes pilot and enjoyed cooking Asian cuisine. Jack was a Mason with the Quarryville Masonic Lodge and a long-time member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Willow Street.
He is survived by his sons, David J. Shultz, husband of Melissa of Lancaster, and Gregory R. Shultz, husband of Denise, of Lititz, grandchildren, Joshua Shultz (Shannon), Kayla Shultz, Erika M. Rosado (Travis C.), and Alyssa N. Shultz, step grandchildren, Timothy and Johnathan Reese, and Samantha Warfield, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and a brother, Fred Shultz, of Ephrata. He was preceded in passing by his wives, Joan Shultz and Elissa Shultz, stepchildren, Denise Warfield and Cynthia Reese, and step grandchildren, Charles Warfield, and William Warfield.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in John’s name are encouraged to be sent to the Water Street Rescue Mission.
