John D. Radicone Jr., 78
October 11, 2025
John D. Radicone Jr., 78, of Lititz, was welcomed into the open arms of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence. Born in Queens, New York he was the son of the late John D. Sr. and Fay Castellano Radicone. John was the loving husband of Ann Marie McHale Radicone, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage this past June. He was a faithful member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was a past grand knight and longtime member of Knights of Columbus, St. John Neumann, Council 12532.
John proudly graduated from Delehanty High School in 1964 and later went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from New York Institute of Technology. John served in the United States Army National Guard for 7 years. As a young man, he and his wife traveled to Colombia to adopt their children, John and Jeanne. John also worked in sales through Pitney Bowes. In the later part of his career, he was the head of maintenance for St. Catherine of Siena and Immaculata College. He spent his “retirement” working at Saint Joseph’s University. John was known for his kindness, work ethic, and generosity, and was continuously serving others. He was a true renaissance man who could fix anything. More than anything, John had a deep love for his faith and family. He took pilgrimages to Medjugorje and the Dominican Republic serving alongside Father Reverend Dan Powell. John mentored many people over the years and made a lasting impact in the lives of others. His family will remember family gatherings, and many trips to the shore and Disney where countless memories were created.
In addition to his beloved wife Ann Marie, he is survived by his children, John D. Radicone III and Jeanne, wife of Tim Curry; seven treasured grandsons—Alexander, Jeremiah, and Jesse Radicone; Mateo, Tomas, Santiago, and Julian Curry; and his sister Joanne, wife of William Varrichio.

John was a wonderful friendly man and a terrific neighbor. When my late spouse and I moved to Lititz, he made us feel most welcome. It was great having a fellow Queens/New Yorker as a neighbor and friend. Both he and his wife Ann were so kind to me when my spouse passed. Wishing Ann comfort and peace knowing the great guy she was married to. Thank you John and Ann for your friendship and my condolences to you and your family.
