Joan Siderio Diller, 80
April 25, 2020
Joan Siderio Diller 80, of Lititz died unexpectantly on Saturday April 25, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Lititz. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anne (Warobe) Siderio. She was the loving wife of Robert C. Diller Sr. for over 60 years.
Joan was a homemaker dedicated to raising her children and focusing on her family. Joan enjoyed being with her family and friends playing cards and going out to eat. Her homemade pizza will be missed by the entire family.
Joan is survived by her sons Robert C. Diller Jr. husband of Wendy (Krushinski) and Philip D. Diller husband of Kelly (McSparran) of Lititz as well as her siblings Barbara Garry wife of John Garry and Walter Siderio husband of Gail (Sanderson) of Lancaster. She was the proud grandmother of Alysa J. Diller and Bryce R. Diller of Lancaster. She fondly enjoyed the company of her grand-puppies Buzz and Mya.

My name is Patricia Snader Heisey. When I saw Joan’s obituary in the newspaper I immediately remembered. I lived beside your family in Paradise along the Lincoln Highway until I was 1 year old. My parents were Clarence and Ella Snader. I have a picture of Joan, Barbara and me in your yard. I also stayed with your family one weekend when I was very young and went to church with you. What a coincidence that she and I both lived in Lititz. I live at Luther Acres with my husband, Dave, at 96 Saint Mark Avenue. Also I worked with Jeannie Krushinski at Woodstream and I am wondering if her daughter may be in your family also. Small world isn’t it – God bless. I am sorry for your loss and want you to know that I have good memories although very few. Pat

My condolences to the Diller family. I grew up across the street from the Diller’s and have many fond memories from that time of my life. Joan always made me feel welcome, and I remember her calling for Phil to come inside after a long day of outdoor play. I tell stories to my kids from those days of Phil, Bobby, & Mr Diller tinkering with a beautiful Jaguar in the garage, the Krushinski’s tree house, the Dussinger’s dinner bell, Mr Edgerton riding his motorcycle and what life was like before technology. Fun outside untill the sun set. She will forever be part of my memories of that era. I wish you all comfort and am very sorry for your loss.
