Joan Perino, 95

Joan Perino, 95, of Lititz, PA departed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 to join her late husband Charles Perino, who passed in July 1999. She was born in the Bronx, NY. Joan was an only child to the late Edith (Cina) and Arthur Barry.

Joan and Charles traveled to Las Vegas, NV raising two children. They continued exploring the west living in Colorado and California before returning to travel in the RV for 10 years. They loved the freedom of the open road and saw all 50 states.

Joan’s wonderful sense of humor, quick wit and infectious laugh were a joy to her family and friends. Her tenacity, love of life and adventurous spirit were and inspiration to those who knew her.

Joan is survived by her children: Donna Sullivan of Lititz, PA and Charles R. and Jane (Trenta) of Canal Fulton, OH; her grandchildren: Max Perino of Ohio, Paul Sullivan, and Stacy (James) Kinney of Lititz, PA. Joan was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Sullivan.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Legends Memory Support of Lititz and more recently Hospice and Community Care- blue team for their visits. The family also sends a heartfelt thank you to Father O’Blaney and the Prayer Warriors of St. James Catholic Church.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Avenue, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
