Francis and family –
I am sorry to learn of Jim’s passing… I know Jim from talking to him (and you!) many times over the years as he was the Engineer for so many of our past projects. It was always a pleasure. May your happy memories comfort you during this time and the days to come. God bless you.

Jim and I had a long history together as I worked for City Planning and I had the responcibility of reviewing and processing any subdivision or land development plan. Jim and I would meet to discuss proposed projects and we would identify any issues that needed special attention. When I was designing an ADA ramp for my church Jim incorporated my small drawings onto a larger piece of paper that the municipality required. Jim always had a chearful disposition and my wife and I would celebrate their wedding anniversery with a dinner together. I served as Jim’s Best Man in his wedding to Fran. His friendship will be missed.

My condolences to the family of Jim Sanchez. I had the pleasure of assisting him with surveying a number of sites in Lancaster and York Counties in 2003 and 2004; I’m frequently reminded of one we did in the Neffsville area, each time I drive by it. Surveying these sites often involved traversing rugged terrain, which could be challenging, and ultimately enjoyable. Jim was always a great guy to work for and learn from!
