This has been one of the most shocking passings of someone that I have experienced thus far in my life. Jim was a fantastic mentor, leader and human being that I had the pleasure of working with and knowing. He truly had a heart of gold, and gave 100% to anything he was tasked with doing. I will truly miss hearing his stories, experiences and memories as he was always willing to take the time to share. I loved seeing pictures of his fishing trips, hearing of his upcoming weekend projects. He absolutely loved getting to share with anyone that would listen. While I have not had the pleasure of knowing Jim as long as some peole have, I am eternally grateful for the 5 years that I got to know him, and he will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Jim.

Dear Cheryl: We were shocked and saddened to read about Jim’s recent passing.  He looks like he knew how to enjoy life and lived it fully with you by his side. I’m sure he was a fun guy judging by his picture and I would have loved fishing and boating with him while enjoying a few beers.  We know you are going through a lot.  You have many shoulders to lean upon through this very difficult time.  Don’t be afraid to reach out.  With sympathy, Mike, Donna and family

I would like to extend my sympathy to Mrs. Fuss and to Jim’s family during this time. I worked with Jim at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Though he tended to be a private man he was always willing to share his professional thoughts and experiences with his colleagues and his officers. Though this time will doubtless be difficult and perhaps lonely, I ask for God’s peace on your behalf – and that your memories of Jim would be cherished and a source of comfort as you remember the special times you shared with him.
