Isabel Diaz Miranda
Isabel Diaz Miranda, 86, of Lancaster, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital, Monday, September 27, 2021. Born in Patillas, PR, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio Diaz and Juanita Amil. Isabel was the wife of the late Angel Miranda.
During her time in Lancaster, Isabel was employed with Hubley Manufacturing and worked in frozen food packaging in the 1970’s and 1980’s. She spent many of her later years living in the Bay Area with her family where she worked in day care. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers of all types. Of the Catholic Faith, Isabel was a parishioner of San Juan Bautista Catholic Church.
Isabel is survived by four children: Elisa Morales, wife of Hector Rodriguez, of Lancaster; Pancho Morales; Maria Morales; and Luz Serrano De Palm, wife of Fred, all of California. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Andre Rodriguez, Cristian De Palm, Benicio De Palm, and Emilio De Palm.
Family and friends will be received from 11AM to 12PM, Monday, October 11, 2021 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12PM with the Rev. Luis R. Rodriguez as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
