Inez Ceci, 99
May 17, 2025
Inez Ceci, 99, formerly of Shillington, PA, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025. Born in Fern Glen PA, to the late Louis D. and Edith Parolini, Inez lived a long, full life devoted to faith, family, and service.
After graduating from high school, Inez obtained a job working on the home front during World War II in a government position, ensuring that soldiers’ families received their payments while their loved ones were overseas. Following the war, she married the love of her life, Robert J. Ceci. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two daughters, Louise and Regina.
A dedicated homemaker and mother, Inez found great joy in caring for her family. She was a talented seamstress who lovingly crafted her daughter’s wedding dress, quilts, blankets, and even vestments for priests. She was also an excellent cook and a tireless worker who approached every task with determination and grace.
Inez and Robert shared a love for ballroom dancing and were active members of several dance clubs. They also enjoyed traveling and cherished the many memories they made together along the way.
Proud of her heritage, Inez was a member of the Tyrolian Club, celebrating her Northern Italian roots. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of both St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic church and St. John Neumenn Catholic church.
Above all, Inez deeply loved her grandchildren and had a special fondness for babies. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters: Louise Stickler, wife of Charles, and Regina Bierbower, wife of Jeffrey; her grandchildren: Charles Stickler IV, Jennifer Sexton, Robert Bierbower, and Kristen Baxter; and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis D. and Edith Parolini, her sister Emma Allison, and her brother Gene Parolini.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd Lancaster PA 17601. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. The burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, at 375 New Holland Ave, Shillington, PA 19607.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Inez’s memory may be made to Vincent de Paul Society at St. John Neumann Catholic Church

Louise and Gina, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your sweet mother these last few years. She was a gentle, caring soul. And she was always ready for a good laugh. I will miss her.
