IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Greta (Hanna)
Weiler
August 10, 1933 – January 23, 2026
Greta (Hanna) Weiler, 92, passed peacefully on January 23, 2026. She and her husband, Edward C. Weiler, Jr., celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on January 10, 2026. To the very end, they were the epitome of a loving couple.
Greta was the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Dussinger) Hanna. She was born August 10, 1933, in Lititz, and she loved her hometown. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz, where she was very active in many different ministries.
She loved playing pinochle and was in a card club for 38 years with the same group of women. Another of her favorite things to do was to go to the beach. Even in her late stages of dementia, if someone was talking about the beach, she wanted it known that she was ready to go!
Greta's greatest joy, however, was her family. Along with her husband, she is survived by three daughters and their families: – Sharon Fritz (husband Mark); grandsons Harrison (wife Meggie) and great-grandchildren Sloane, Holden, and Ronnie; Derek (wife Amanda) and great-grandchildren Halle and Wesley; granddaughter Liliana Singerman (husband Alex) and great-granddaughter Margot; and grandson Karsten. – Susan Campbell (partner Angel Candelaria); grandsons Woodrow "Woody" Campbell and Thomas Campbell (wife Sarah); and great-grandchildren Edward and Rowan. – Tamara Ruckel (husband Tom); grandchildren Charles "Chase" McCarthy (wife Sarah) and great-grandchildren Patrick, Parker, and Natalie; and granddaughter Cara McCarthy.
Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Maggie Bass.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Hanna (wife Charlotte); her sister, Jean Bender (husband Joseph); and her brother-in-law, Austin "Sam" Bass.
Many other nieces and nephews share a deep love for "Aunt Greta." She touched many lives and always tried to have a positive outlook on life.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543.
