Gloria J. Weaver, 77

Gloria J. (Nelson) Weaver, 77, of Lancaster, PA, passed away Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025, at Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She shared 56 years of marriage with her husband Henry J. Weaver. Henry was serving in the Navy when they were married, and he took her to Hawaii to live.

Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Berntson) Nelson.

She was a wonderful wife and homemaker for the family. Gloria had also worked as a clerk for Smithgall’s Pharmacy. She loved to keep house, care for her animals, knit, and read the Bible and biographies. Gloria worshipped at First Church of God and then Chestnut Hill Church in Lancaster.

In addition to her husband Henry, Gloria is survived by her daughter Amy Marie Cerquada, wife of Goo of Steubenville, OH, her sons, Michael Paul Weaver of Carlisle, PA, and Corey R. Weaver, husband of Heidi of Leola, PA; and her three grandchildren, William, Max, and Lucy Cerquada. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Phillip Nelson.

Private burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
